For Catholics, the Sacrament of Marriage, or Holy Matrimony, is a powerful symbol of God’s love for us. It is a celebration of commitment to work, share, and grow together in your faith. The marriage preparation program offers couples an opportunity to reflect and discuss some significant facets of marriage. We are here to assist you throughout your journey.
If you wish to marry in Good Shepherd Parish, one of you must be a registered member of our Parish. You must make initial arrangements at least one year in advance. Four sessions with our priest or deacon, as well as Pre-Cana or Engaged Encounter, will take place during this year. Active worship for at least two months is required before a date may be scheduled.
