RCIA stands for Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. It is the process of study developed by the Catholic Church for people as an introduction to our Catholic faith and preparation to receive the sacraments. The RCIA program welcomes anyone, regardless of background, who wants to become Catholic. Initiation is usually celebrated at Easter time.
