We're excited to welcome your child to the Good Shepherd 2025-26 Religious Education program. Classes will begin on Saturday, September 2025, and will be held in the newly renovated basement of the old Holy Spirit Church on Hazel Avenue in Perth Amboy. Enter through the side door on Brace Avenue. Classes are typically held twice a month on Saturdays from 8:45 to 11 am. You can find the calendar below.

All families must be registered with our Parish and regularly attend weekend Mass. If you are not registered, please call the Parish Office at 732-826-4859. New students need to provide copies of their Baptismal and First Holy Communion certificates (not required if the Sacrament was received at Good Shepherd). You can bring copies to the Parish Office, or scan/photograph and email them to [email protected].

Sacramental fees are required when your child is in level 2 and level 8. Your Catechist or Director will inform you once your child has completed all required classes. Refer to the Sacrament tab on our website for more details.

We will continue using the “Remind” app for class updates, cancellations, and other notices. Please provide an email address and cell phone number to ensure you receive all necessary information. Inform us promptly of any contact changes.
