Religious Education

We are delighted to welcome your child to the Good Shepherd 2024-25 Religious Education program. Classes begin on Saturday, October 5, 2024. They are held in the renovated basement of the old Holy Spirit Church on Hazel Avenue in Perth Amboy. The entrance is on the side door of Brace Avenue. Classes typically occur twice a month on Saturdays from 8:45 to 11 am. The calendar can be clicked below.

All families must be registered to our Parish and be actively attending weekend Mass regularly. If you are not registered, please call the Parish Office at 732-826-4859.

Copies of your child's Baptismal and First Holy Communion certificates are required for new students only, even if they were received at Good Shepherd. We have copies of returning students on file. You can bring them to the Parish Office or take a photo and email them to [email protected].

Sacramental fees need to be paid when your child is in level 2 and level 8. Please refer to the Sacrament tab on this website.

We will continue to use the “Remind” app to announce class updates, cancellations, and other notices. Please provide an email address and cell phone number to ensure you receive all necessary information. Please inform us promptly of any contact changes.
