Congratulations!  You have been asked to be a Godparent for a Baptism or a Sponsor for a Confirmation. The Parish Office will provide a certificate when the following guidelines are met:

• You must be a registered Member of the Good Shepherd Parish (Minimum of two months).
• You are at least 16 years of age.

• You are a Catholic who has received Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation.

• You practice your faith by attending regular weekend Mass.

• If married, you are married according to the laws of the Catholic Church.

We cannot give you a Sponsor Certificate if:

• You are over 18 years of age and are not active or registered here, meaning you have not shown that you have attended Mass for 2 months, even if you grew up here and have received all your Sacraments at Holy Spirit, Most Holy Rosary, or Good Shepherd.
• You are registered at another church.
• Your family/parents are actively attending our Masses, but you are not.  
• You have not completed all your Sacraments.
